At the Five Glens Arts Festival on Saturday, 27 August,

Manorhamilton artist Rachel Webb (see Facebook page Rachel Webb + Camera) will lead the regional launch of A Dying Language, Monica Corish’s poetry collection published by the Irish Hospice Association. Monica will read from that collection and from Gleanings: Poetry Inspired by the Leitrim Observer at 8:30 pm. An open-mic session will follow the launch. My Crime Writing Workshop at the Five Glens Arts Festival will run from noon to 2 pm on Saturday in the Glens Centre. The workshop will focus on dialogue and character, highlighted with advice and examples from masters of the genre.
