Two Weeks until the Allingham Competitions Deadline

If you’re a writer, a writing tutor, or a literary blogger, please remind your friends and followers that the deadline for submissions to the 2019 Allingham Poetry and Flash Fiction Competitions is scheduled for 26 September.
There’s decent prize money, and some of the past winners (including Una Mannion and E.M. Reapy) have gone on to great things. The following summary covers the essentials and provides a link to the Allingham website.
2019 ALLINGHAM POETRY AND FLASH FICTION COMPETITIONS

Deadline: 26 September 2019

Details: €300 prizes for winners in Poetry and Flash Fiction competitions. Judges include Annemarie Ní Churreáin, writer-in-residence at Maynooth; Denise Blake, Donegal poet and workshop leader; Brian Leyden, author and memoirist; and Leitrim author Jo Holmwood. Prizes to be awarded at the 2019 Allingham Festival Literary Lunch in the Nirvana Restaurant on Saturday, 9 November in Ballyshannon, Co Donegal. Rules and on-line entry forms are found at
